Female Oppression Theme

We have read many vignettes so far. Based on most of vignettes Sandra Cisneros's she starts to develop the theme of female oppression. Write at least five sentences, using correct punctuation, that discusses how Sandra Cisneros develops female oppression through at least two of her vignettes. If you need to use a word processing software first to check your spelling, and grammar you can and then paste it into the blog.

I look forward to your responses.

Sandra develops female opression in her vignettes, first for example is in born bad. Esperanza thinks she is most likely to go to hell and most likely deserve to be there, Just because she was born on a evil day. Also she thought that only her Aunt Lupe listen to her. The second one she develops female opression is in the vignette "Marin". Marin is one of Esperanza's first female friends of impression. She sells makeup for Avon and is the girlfriend of neighbor Louie. the third is When Esperanza goes to her first job, she is thrown into a new world. She escapes in a stall and finds a man who simply wants her for different reasons. He tries to kiss her and does not let go. This is one of Esperanza's first uncomfortable experiences with romance. She was still very naive.

I found that Sandra writes about femal opression alot in her vignettes. Sandra uses alot of female drama. For example in one of the vignettes the charecter gave the guy a birthday kiss. Then the guy held her to the lips and would not let go. If it were a guy getting kissed by the girl i would think that the guy would like it. Another exaple is that she only uses one vignette that was something to do with a male. When it had something to do with a male it was bad.He would take the prostitutes into his room and they would never be seen again. She uses alot of female opression.

Sandra develops female opression by syaing, she is most likly going to hell. Also by saying how her and her sister don't aknowledge eachother outside of their house. That could make a female sad. Also the guy kissing her it could lower her self a steam because she might think she is now very gollible.

Within this book there are two vignette's that really show female oppression. The first is the Earl one. Were he is using all of those girls for prostitue, one after the other. The other one would have to be when the girl is locked up ion her apartment. Because her husband does not want her to runway, so he is not letting her have her rights of leaving him. That is showing oppresion big time.

Sandra develops female opression in her vignettes. The first one she develops female opression is in the vignette "Marin". In the vignette, Marin, there is a girl named Marin. She wears dark panty hoes and at that time, in ancient history, if you wore dark panty hoes you were more mature. The second vignette she develops female opression I don't know, but what had happen was, man told her it was his birthday today and he told her to give him kiss on the cheek. When she tried to do so, the old geezer took her face and slammed it on his lips. she was so niave(i don't know how to spell that)

Sandra develops female oppression throughout the vignettes by showing how all of the females in these vignettes are almost relying on a man to change their lives. She shows many examples thought. She shows how some of the girls needed a man then they would change their ways. Many of the vignettes were great ensamples in them. Sandra is a very good writer and is very good at getting a point of view across.
