What would your life be like?
Explain what you feel your life would be like if you lived in Maycomb County, Alabama during the 1930s.
Please write a complete paragraph.

My life would be hard and unfair.I would have to do all the traditional work.I wouldn't be able to vote and own any property. I can't do any thing that men can do since I'm a woman.Back then women did nothing but work around the house and had no equal rights. I would also be hot all the time because of the harsh conditions. there was no fan/AC back then. There is another thing called class, and if you were in upper class that was good if you were in lower class that was not as good. so it would also effect how i would feel my life would be, because you would always want to be in upper class.(doesn't always turn out like that)
My life would be hard and I wouldn't like to live in a state where there are bad living conditions. There wouldn't be enought food to eat or water to drink. People had to get water out of streets. I wouldn't like to live without any air conditioning. I want the temperatures not to be very hot because you would be very sweaty. There wasn't enough shelter for people to live in. There weren't any telephones back then. Finally, there wasn't transportation back then.
My life would be hard because i am a women. Back then women had to do all of the chores and take care of the kids all the time. We also could not vote, and we have different rights then men. Teh conditions back then would be horrible because of the heat. Also they did not have the technology like we do now, so there was no way to fix it.
If i lived in Alabama in the 1930's it would be hard because you wouldnt have that much work to do, and the house conditions aren't very good. They're like run down and poor. There was alot of raices people in the south. There was a racis group called the KKK and the KKK stands for the Ku Klux Klan. They picked on everyone that wasn't white.
in the south you eaither got luckey and had food shelter and water or you had really poor conditions.Also the south hated the President. They thought he was no good. I would not want to live in the south because i would probaly have to fight in alot of the wars.
It would be very hard for me no food no houses lots of homelss people around. Not a lot of people would have jobs. I would not like to live in the 1930s because the exchange crashed and all the people lost there money and houes and food. And when u have no money you cant buy food so you would starve to death. So if i could choose i would not like to live in the 1930s.
I think that my life would not be very fun. I think that because i would probably poor and there would not be a t.v or any video games. Also the living conditions are not good. Also Maycomb County Alabama seems like it is a boring town and nothing goes on in it.
My life would be weird i would have to do additional work. my life would be hard i would always be outside working hard. it would also be hot out and theres no fans back then. mostly only the high class people had fans and that was rare. now pretty much every one has a fan
If I live in the 1930's then my life whould be hard. there wouldent be a lot of jobs to get and i whould have to probly live in a poor part of town. this takes place in the depresion so i whould probly be sad about the people who i lost in WW1.
